Idea Notes / Instructions:

With this project, I took an 8 x 8 inch canvas, prepped with gesso, then wrapped the outside edges of the canvas with tissue tape. I took a 8 x 8 inch piece of chipboard, and mounted a sheet of Graphics45 \'Le Cirque\' paper for a background using gel medium. Once dry, I took the covered chipboard, and using bath and kitchen clear caulking, glued the chipboard to the top of the canvas. Placed the canvas on a flat surface, and piled books to the top to help the chipboard adhere to the canvas, until dry, (about 4 hours). Use the caulking in a well ventilated area.
Next once canvas and board was dry, I layered further pieces of the \'Le Cirque\' Paper line, buy cutting out shapes and pictures, mounting them to chipboard and gluing to the canvas and board using Inkssentials \'Matte accents\'. Further layering other embellishments.
This piece is on display at my blog at

Enjoy!

Products Used:
