|Idea Notes / Instructions:
Once I had prepared the body forms surface with primer and painted the paper body form with Claudine Hellmuth Studio Paint, I randomly stencilled using Crafter\'s Choice \'Chicken Wire\' Stencil and \'Butterscotch\' Pigment Ink by Ranger. I then with my Faber Castell pens darkened and highlighted each opening to give a feel of a bee hive\' instead of chick wire.
The re-purposed metal candlestick, had a 1/4 inch deep rim around the top which I lined with sticky double sided tape. I took a 12 x 12 sheet of Graphics45 \'ABC Primer Collection Paper, cut the appropriate size, and tore all the edges to give a distressed look, used walnut ink on all edges to tone down the white paper showing and then wrapped the paper in two sections to show both sides of the papers pattern and set in place on the candlestick top with the double sided tape.
The Brass Charms, were set in two stages. First were the \'corner\' pieces which were glued to the candlestick holder with Bath and Kitchen \'Clear\' caulking and a rubber band was placed around to help affix them in place until dry. After set, the next layer of brass charms, (bees) were set in place, again with the clear caulking and again a rubber band set in place until fully dry. Other random embellishments were set in place with double sided tape, with a vintage pearl on top set with the clear caulking.
