Special Project Designer 2018-2019

Annette Green – USA

“Hello, I’m Annette Green from Melbourne, Florida, USA. My husband, Paul, and our sweet Sheltie named Suki enjoy life at home, working out, eating well, traveling, and cheering on our daughter, Jamie, who attends Ringling College of Art & Design in Sarasota. I spend most of my days creating in my craftroom and preparing for upcoming Graphic 45 classes in scrapbook stores around the U.S. I served two years on the Graphic 45 design team starting in 2012, after which time I was asked to design special projects for their major papercrafting events around the globe. I continue to design class projects to this day and I love it! Truly, it is the best job ever!

Pennys Paper Doll Family ATC Book Box and Base

I’m delighted to be continuing another year as Special Projects Designer with my pals Maria Cole and Kathy Clement. It’s truly the best job ever! My “Self Portrait” project reflects what I like to create the most, and that is definitely altered boxes. I love coming up with different uses and trying different ways to alter them. One of my favorite go-to techniques is to build a custom base to add even more “Wow factor” to a project. I’ve created this video tutorial to show how easy it is to make your own base for any size box you have. By adding a base, you can easily accommodate the Graphic 45 claw feet. You may have noticed I’ve altered the claw feet to match the other Shabby Chic items by dabbing them first with Silver Alcohol Mixative then buffing on a light touch of gold acrylic paint.” ~Annette
